The Library of the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia, which is constantly growing, boasts a collection of volumes and magazines specializing in archeology and art history, also in foreign language. The collection is enriched by a catalogue of digital resources that boasts about 500 volumes of various kinds.
Located within the Catalogue Office of the Archaeological Museum of Paestum, the library is an ideal place for studying and consulting the volumes thanks to convenient and comfortable study stations. In addition, internal staff constantly offer assistance to users.
Loaning of volumes is not possible.

From 3 June 2020 access to the library /deposit hall is allowed from Monday to Friday according to the following provisions:
- reservations required: contact the Head of the Catalogue Office, Mr. Giovanni Capo, at the following numbers: 0828 811023 int.21 or 3392832034;
- limited entries: maximum 5 persons at the same time;
- use of personal safety devices such as face masks and gloves; frequent hand washing is recommended.
It is also provided that access is allowed only after having countersigned an information document on the behavior to be taken under the provisions for containment COVID-19.
